OH YEAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
I call it the SLR01 Black edition

OEM serial numbers retained. Too good …
The SLR01 uses uni and conventional weave for different parts of the frame and the matt finish gives an even better view of this technology
The new build will carry on the subtle theme whilst staying performance orientated
.
Ever since riding the caad10 i have longed for an experience similar to my slr01. I procrastinated long and hard over new frames. I thought about the SSix Evo and the Tarmac SL4 and a host of other options like moots vamoots, Baum, Time RXRS ulteam but in the end i just couldn’t pull the trigger on any of them. My heart is still with my SLR01. So i decided to send the frame in for a full work over and checked over. This is the way it has come back to me. It will be MY SLR01. So happy my frame is now back with me, this frame has gone through so much with me that it just feels right to head down this path.

Looks Dope Jing nice work.
thanks mate
will post pics soon when complete
That looks absolutely awesome! Am I right in thinking it’s a 50cm frame? I should probably know as I ride one myself. Love the subtle black on black. One thing that would have made this 110% amazing would have been internal cable routing for the Di2. I know Predator Cycling can do this, I think they’ve done a few for Liquigas.
Thanks! Yup it is a 50cm frame.
Yeah, the place that did the frame for me had the di2 option and looking back now, i should have opted to do it. Shave off the cable stops and install a mount for the di2 batt aka impec underneath the chainstay.
Who knows, next time i overhaul the bike i might just send it back to get the di2 conversion done.

Awesome. Can i ask where you had this job done ? And in which country you live
I live in Aus. Paintmybike.com.au is the place that did mine
Hi there, lovely BMC. I’m looking at the 50cm framse size but at 5’6″ i’m a little concerned about it being too big. How tall are you and is the seat post position in the picture where you run it. Thanks.
I am 5’7″ so pretty close.
I went off the sizing based on the BMC racing site but i always rode 535tt. Incidentally, for the caad10 i had for an interim, i got to try what 520-525tt was like and to be honest it was pretty similar. I think because the bmc 50 has a decent ht length so the stem doenst actually drop too much. I think this subject is quite complicated but basically i feel very comfy on it. I am on the limit of how much lower the seatpost can go though. I mean it can go lower but i wouldnt do it.

See the pic, the flexiable part engineered into the post will be inside the seattube if you let it go any further and that would be pretty bad.
Based on this reason, i might recommend you get the 47cm but that is up to you. Funny thing is, if you run a 47cm, it might actually become more aggressive as you will have a higher seatpost height and a lower stem height due to shorter ht.
Either way, i am sure you will be happy with the frame! I have a feeling they might discontinue this frame soon for the “newest and greatest” so snap one up now!
oh yeah the most important thing is, it isn’t actually 5.7 or 5.6 as you might know but more about inseem length.
Hi Jingers,
thanks for your time with the reply – that’s really helpful. The shop I’m looking at now only has 47cm in the SL01 or 50cm in RM01. I’m going to try one tomorrow.
